Call My Agent! The Movie (Dix Pour Cent ! Le Film) returns to the former ASK team five years after the agency closed. Andréa Martel has moved from managing other people’s careers to directing her first feature. When its production falls apart, the people who know her best gather around the set—with skills, egos and grievances of their own.
RecapRush viewpoint: The reunion works because the characters return as people whose lives have changed. Their loyalty matters more when it does not require pretending that the old professional hierarchy still exists.

Full Spoiler Recap
Five Years After ASK
The former colleagues have taken different routes through the industry. Mathias and Camille continue in representation, Gabriel remains an agent, Hervé works as an actor, and Noémie has become a producer. Andréa is preparing her directorial debut, a move that puts her artistic ambition at the center of the workplace emergency.
A Leading Actor Walks Away
Shortly before filming begins, Laurent Lafitte leaves for another opportunity associated with Wes Anderson. His departure destabilizes the production and its financing. Andréa needs both a replacement star and practical help keeping the film alive.
She turns to Noémie and reconnects with Gabriel, whose relationship with Vincent Macaigne offers a route through the casting crisis. Old resentments make those conversations more difficult than straightforward business negotiations. An attempt to recruit George Clooney does not produce the replacement Andréa hopes for.

The Set Replaces the Office
Vincent Macaigne and Laetitia Casta bring volatile personal history to a production already strained by scheduling and logistical problems. Andréa encounters the kind of creative temperament she once managed from outside. Her forceful approach does not make the set predictable.
Noémie’s role is particularly important because she now has authority of her own. She is not there simply to absorb Andréa’s demands. The working relationship forces both women to negotiate the distance between ambition and the conditions under which a film can actually be made.
The Custody Conflict
Andréa’s professional crisis overlaps with a custody dispute involving Colette and their daughter, Flora. Her habit of treating work as the emergency that must come first has consequences beyond production delays. Finishing the film cannot be her only measure of success.

The Former Team Comes Together
Mathias, Camille, Arlette and Hervé enter the production’s orbit as the crises accumulate. Their support does not restore ASK’s old chain of command. They bring independent careers and needs to the reunion, and they resist being treated as tools for Andréa’s vision.
The film survives through shared effort and adaptation. Andréa has to accept the production she can finish rather than insisting on recovering every detail of the one she originally imagined.

Ending Explained
Does Andréa Finish Her Film?
Yes. The production gets through its crises with the help of the former team. Her achievement depends on compromise and collaboration rather than on imposing her will without limits. That change makes the ending about more than an artistic victory.
Why Is Directing a Reversal for Andréa?
As an agent, Andréa handled difficult actors and defended clients through professional emergencies. Now she is the creative person whose demands others must navigate. The reversal forces her to experience the labor and patience that have supported her own ambitions.
More from RecapRush

How Has Noémie Changed?
Noémie approaches Andréa as a producer with authority. Her growth becomes visible through her ability to say no, negotiate and protect the practical needs of the production. The reunion gives her more than a place beside the old team: it gives her an equal footing she did not previously have.
Does ASK Reopen?
No. The people reconnect without reopening the agency. Their reunion makes ASK’s continuing importance a matter of relationships and shared experience, rather than a return to the same office and jobs.
What Does the Custody Story Add?
It makes Andréa’s personal responsibilities impossible to dismiss as something she can address after the next work crisis. Her relationship with Flora requires attention of its own. Colette’s concerns therefore belong to the ending’s question about what Andréa is willing to sacrifice for her career.
RecapRush Interpretation
The ending allows professional survival and personal growth to exist together without making Andréa suddenly perfect. Her victory is learning to depend on people without assuming that dependence gives her the right to control them. The team’s support is meaningful because its members can also push back.
Why the Reunion Works Without Reopening ASK
The agency and the team serve different purposes in this ending. Reopening ASK would restore a place, its jobs and the old reporting relationships. Finishing Andréa’s film instead brings the colleagues together for a particular problem, while leaving their changed careers intact. The distinction matters most for Noémie, whose authority as producer would be diminished if the reunion merely returned everyone to their earlier rank.
Andréa’s move behind the camera makes that change visible. She previously negotiated on behalf of a creative person; now her own creative demands require negotiation. Noémie’s resistance is therefore not an interruption of the reunion. It is evidence that the people Andréa needs have become capable of defining the terms on which they help her.
The custody dispute supplies a separate limit to the production’s success. A completed film can demonstrate collaboration on set, but it cannot by itself demonstrate sustained attention to Flora. Reading the professional resolution as an automatic cure for the family conflict would repeat Andréa’s original mistake of making work the measure of everything. The ending’s warmer tone is most convincing as an opportunity to change, rather than proof that every habit has disappeared.
Deep Analysis
The film set recreates the original series’ workplace pressure in a changed arrangement. Andréa’s shift into directing and Noémie’s move into producing make their familiar personalities operate under different power dynamics.
That is also why the reunion can offer closure without undoing the agency’s disappearance. The characters carry the old community into new work instead of restoring the circumstances that once kept them together.
What Most Viewers Missed
- Noémie’s production authority changes what Andréa can reasonably ask of her.
- The casting crisis reconnects Andréa and Gabriel through work that requires trust.
- The custody conflict gives the production’s success a personal limit.
- A reunion of colleagues does not require a reopening of ASK.
Mid and Post Credits
A separate post-credits scene has not been independently verified for this guide. The film’s closure is discussed through its main narrative rather than through an assumed franchise teaser.
Final Thoughts
Call My Agent! The Movie uses a troubled production to reunite the former ASK team without freezing its members in their old roles. Andréa completes her project, while Noémie’s confidence and the others’ independence keep the reunion from becoming merely another demonstration of Andréa’s force of personality.
RecapRush assessment: A sharp continuation built around changed relationships and the limits of professional control.
