This policy explains how information may be handled when you visit RecapRush. It covers the site’s current features and identifies third-party services that may process information through their own tools.
Information handled by the site
When you visit, our hosting and security services may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested page, and request time, to deliver and protect the site.
The “My list” feature stores saved video IDs in your browser’s local storage so they remain available on that device. This list is not sent to RecapRush’s video library database.
If you use the owner sign-in and library-management features, authentication is handled through ChatGPT. Those features are for the site owner, not required for ordinary browsing.
Comments
If you submit a comment, we store your chosen display name, comment text, submission time, and moderation status. Your name and comment become public only after approval. Do not include private or sensitive information in a comment. To request removal, email us with the article URL and the comment details.
To limit spam, the site derives a short-lived, hourly identifier from your IP address and records submission counts. Expired rate-limit records are removed during later comment submissions; the comments database does not store the raw IP address for this purpose.
Third-party services
RecapRush uses or links to third-party services, including YouTube for video playback, TMDB for movie and TV information. When their content or scripts load, those providers may receive information such as your IP address, browser/device data, and page activity, and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
Advertising and cookies
If advertising is enabled, third-party advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver, measure, and protect ads. RecapRush does not control the information collected directly by an advertising provider.
The Google AdSense script is installed on RecapRush, and our application is under review. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this site or other sites. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or learn about industry opt-outs at aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We update this notice when advertising services change.
Where applicable law or an advertising platform requires consent, RecapRush will provide the relevant notice and consent controls before enabling that advertising for affected visitors.
Children’s privacy
RecapRush is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
Your choices and contact
You can clear saved videos by removing this site’s local storage in your browser settings. You can also block cookies or third-party content through your browser, though some features or ads may not work as intended.
