The Super Mario Bros. Movie2023DirectorOur takeThe film works best as a story about persistence becoming cooperation. Mario’s willingness to keep trying matters, but his brother’s loyalty gives that determination its purpose. The final victory belongs to two people who refuse to leave one another behind.
